The young handball players of ŽRK Udarnik achieved great success by securing 7th place at the Croatian Championship finals in the U-15 category (cadets, generation 2008/2009), held in Poreč from May 22-26, 2024. The same success was repeated by the players in the U-13 category (younger cadets, generation 2010/2011) by securing 7th place at the Croatian Championship finals, held in Poreč from June 6-9, 2024.
Considering the exceptionally challenging training conditions, as the girls do not have their own gym but use multifunctional city facilities depending on their availability, and the ongoing financial difficulties, the club’s management and players are thrilled with this achievement, equaling the club’s best result achieved by the 2002 generation.
PALCONutrifit, one of the club’s sponsors since 2022, invites other legal entities and donors to support ŽRK Udarnik and generally contribute to the development of sports in the Velika Gorica area.
